A Quick Note On Potty Pads

We bought them with the intent of using them to potty train Blue. But we never really focused on teaching him to potty on them because it always seemed problematic to tell the puppy to go outside half the time and on the pad the other half the time.

So, what did we do with the giant stack of pads sitting in our house? Turns out the things are actually quite useful… mostly for cleaning up dog puke.

See, Blue barfs. A lot. He gets car sick all the time. (I’m told that’s a puppy thing too — it’s supposed to go away. We’ll see.) So, we put the pad under Blue in the car when we travel. That way if he yaks, it lands on the pad. And the pads are super absorbent, as you would imagine, so you just roll up the pad and throw it out.
